Beda’s Association X Afro-Pfingsten - Musical Documentaries

Beda’s vision aligns with the mission and vision of the Afro-Pfingsten Festival. Held in Winterthur, Switzerland, this festival addresses social issues such as systemic oppression, racism, and social inequalities. The Afro-Pfingsten team met Beda’s in Ghana during a field research trip to explore the roots of African music. This encounter was incredibly fruitful for both parties, allowing for the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and values.

Inspired by this meeting, the idea for a documentary series showcasing Africa’s rich musical repertoire was born. This series aims to promote the African music and art scene, while also fostering collaborations with artists for potential performances at the Afro-Pfingsten Festival in Winterthur, Switzerland.
